Listening Post

A museum installation and an architectural construction sited at the edge of a nearby field, produced for Socle du Monde 2004. The site work suggests itself as a potential platform for bird watching, listening to pop music, and other amateur-isms popular in the area. The parallel museum installation used a series of formal conjunctions, linguistic plays, and spatial puns to re-organize souvenirs and personal effects borrowed from local residents. This project evolved through close collaboration with employees of the construction firm C.C. Contractor and their families.

Exhibited at Socle du Monde 2004, organized by Jacob Fabricius for the Herning Kunstmuseum, Herning, Denmark, 2004
